An Open Letter from Billy the Intern

Hi, my name is Billy McDougall,

 

I have been an intern for the Black and Mild Invitational for the last 5 years. I assumed it would be a one-year role in which I would progress, but I have not been given a promotion or even a raise in pay since I have started. Most of my day to day entails answering emails, reaching out to sponsors, running the social media accounts, pretty much planning all aspects of the tournament and most importantly getting coffee for the committee members. I am hoping one day to get a new job but living on the Bluff limits my options. To be honest, I hate my job and want to quit, and everyone blames anything that goes wrong on me. I feel like the tournament punching bag and am not even allowed to attend the actual tournament.
